How to Stack Mixed FireBalls?

Q: Is there any rhyme or reason to how I should place the Mixed FireBalls, or do I just kind of 'wing it'?! A: I use photos from our website as a pattern for the ball placement http://rasmussengaslogs.com/fireballs-vented/ There are no rules, but when I install the Mixed FireBalls, I:
1) Place the larger FireBalls to the rear of the burner; 2) Place the Half-Balls flat side down on the pan medium, next to a larger ball, which creates a pocket onto which I place another ball; 3) Fill in the gaps with the other balls. 4) Rearrange as desired to adjust the flame (careful - the balls get too hot to touch without thick leather gloves).
