Custom
Embers Burner
The Custom Embers Burner
is a tapered wedge shaped burner that brings the front of the pan (and embers
and flame) to the hearth level. It can
be installed flush on the firebox floor, or elevated at the rear using the
supplied rear height adjustment leg. The logs/Mixed FireBalls/FireStones reside inside the burner on the pan filler – no grate is to be used with the CXF Burner. The
Custom Embers Burner is available in the following sizes:

Additional sizes and
shapes can be custom designed to fit a particular firebox’s dimensions. BTU/hour shown is the maximum gas consumption
per hour for each size and gas type assuming unrestricted ½-id gas supply.
Burners can be operated at lower BTU/hour flow.
The
Custom
Embers Burners, like all
Rasmussen vented pan burners, are made of heavy 16-gauge steel, with
½” schedule 40 pipe (not light duty tubing) for the main burner
tube and ¼” steel tubing for the ember booster portions of the CXF
burner, with internal baffling to spread the gas and flame across the
burner. All seams are welded for maximum performance and durability.
The
Custom Embers Burner is filled with white sand for natural gas and
black volcanic ash for propane use. A full compliment of accessory
safety lighting kits, including remote controls and electronic
ignition systems, are available.
The
Custom Embers Burner is for use only in a fully functioning
solid-fuel burning fireplace in which it is safe to burn wood. It
may be used with Rasmussen Logs, Mixed FireBalls, FireShapes and
FireStones, which are installed inside the pan. No Grate shall be used with the CXF Burner. Uniform FireBalls
are not as well suited for this pan, as they require a rectangular
base for proper stacking, while the CXF burner has a trapezoidal
base.
